WHY THIS CODE EXISTS
More Than Another Night Out
SecretPride was built for gay men who want more than fleeting nights. We create spaces that are carefully curated, grounded in respect, and unapologetically celebratory. This code is how we protect that.
THE CODE
SIX PRINCIPLES
The principles that shape every SecretPride space, event, and interaction.
Consent Comes First
Consent is explicit, ongoing, and never assumed. No one is entitled to another person’s time, attention, body, or boundaries.
Respect Is Mandatory
Treat every member with dignity and respect. Harassment, coercion, and behaviour that crosses personal boundaries have no place here.
Privacy Matters
What happens at SecretPride stays at SecretPride. Do not share, expose, record, or discuss others in ways that break trust.
Community Over Ego
This space works because members help shape it. Bring confidence, not entitlement, and contribute to an atmosphere others can feel safe in.
Freedom With Responsibility
We celebrate freedom, pleasure, and expression, but never at the expense of respect, consent, or the wellbeing of others.
We Protect the Space Together
Every member helps protect the community. If something feels wrong, do not ignore it. Speak up, raise it, and help keep the space safe.
STANDARDS
What Is Not Accepted
SecretPride has no tolerance for behaviour that harms, demeans, or threatens others. These are not grey areas. Breaches are taken seriously and acted on promptly.
- Harassment, intimidation, or persistent unwanted contact.
- Non-consensual physical contact or sexual behaviour.
- Discriminatory conduct based on race, identity, faith, or expression.
- Photography or recording without explicit consent.
- Sharing or exposing information about other members outside SecretPride.
- Unsafe or disruptive behaviour affecting the wellbeing of those around you.
- Behaviour that damages the safety, integrity, or atmosphere of the space.
REPORTING & ENFORCEMENT
If something does not feel right, report it. Concerns are handled discreetly and taken seriously. Breaches may result in immediate action, including removal from an event or permanent removal from the community. We do not compromise on safety.
Report It
Raise concerns directly with the SecretPride team by speaking to a member of staff or contacting us through the appropriate channel.
Consequences
Breaches may lead to a warning, removal from an event, suspension, or permanent exclusion from the community.
Where It Applies
This code applies to SecretPride events, digital spaces, and interactions between members under the SecretPride name.
